For those that live in coastal and humid conditions, potassium sorbate will prevent the growth of mould on your curing meats. It will also allow your biltong, jerky or other cured meats keep longer than meat without it.

Please follow instruction on packet for mixture rate.


For biltong and cured meats, use 0.8 - 1 gram per kg of meat or dissolve 30g with 750ml vinegar sufficient for 40Kg's of meat.
